-The requirement to be ordinarily residing in Malaysia is applicable only when a partner is also acting as the compliance officer of the LLP.

Compliance Officer

They don't call Company secretary, but Compliance Officer.他们不叫公司秘书，而是叫合规官

The compliance officer has to be either from amongst the partners of the LLP or a person qualified to act as a secretary under the Companies Act 1965 who :

-is a citizen or permanent resident of Malaysia; and

-ordinarily resides in Malaysia.
